Pursuant to the Bill (Reg. No. 1024-1), for every full year of insurance record over 25 years for man and 20 years for women, their retirement pension should be increased by 2 per cent of the pension, calculated with the account of insurance record and salary of each person. However, the said rate should not be less than 2 per cent of a living wage for persons who lost their working efficiency.
Moreover, "according with the estimations of the Pension Fund, implementation of the Bill requires extra expenditures of more than 1,5 billion Hryvnias a month. Therefore, its adoption requires reasonable approach". The Committee also emphasized that the Ministry of Labour and Social Policy fails to uphold the Bill.
